Ortner Boat Club is the ex-members' club for Reading University Boat Club. When you finish university Ortner BC allows you to pretend to still be a fit and competitive rower, while enjoying a taste of the social life you enjoyed as an undergrad. Highlights include:

• Reminisce with old friends and like-minded people about how brilliant you thought you once were.

• Haul your wheezing, unfit body into a boat again for the Reading University HORR and remember that maybe its a good idea to train occasionally (Medical attention included at no extra cost).

• Improve your beer (Pimms!) gut at the Henley Royal Regatta barbecue, the highlight of the social calendar.

• Keep up to date with all that is happening at RUBC and where you can next support your old club.

• Showing office mates old photos of yourselves in action proving how young and fit you looked at University
